Ruhlin was retired in his corner,fully conscious. Jeffries was a grinder.
Ruhlin was the only class man his size that Jeffries faced and beat.

 

I'm sorry, I don't mean to embarrass you but McVey is actually just a poster here. You probably read his name so many times about him fighting with other dudes you thought he was actually a heavyweight fighter or something. But no disrespect. It's clear you are a fan on here and all. It's just, be careful. Sometimes reading about people and knowing about them ain't the same deal.

Jeffries was measured by a Doctor and found to be six feet even.He was also under 220lbs when in top shape.

 

Its always funny to me how Ali fans repeat that he was the GOAT yet Ali never makes the cut for any Greatest Puncher list or Hardest Puncher list ever.

 

Shavers is regularly in the top ten great punchers list ,but I've never seen him in any list of top heavyweights of all time and nor should he be !

 

Shavers wasent the full package agreed.
Joe Louis on the other hand made #1 out 100 Greatest Punchers of all time.

Imo it takes away from Ali's legacy that he never made the cut.

 

. I agree I found it kind of surprising seeing Tunney on this list and Im not sure if i would have had Marciano that high. Legacy aside, I personally would have had Tua as a bigger hitter.

 

Ali is the all time number 1 imo ,and he hit hard enough to stop a lot of guys.He was as near the total package as I've seen.

 

Ok ill go along with Ali stopped a lot of guys as you say but the fact remains Ali didn't make the cut.
