Nobody really can really determine an absolute rank.

No one here has ever fought any of the elite power punchers and we have no metric or test available to gauge their power.

Only observational evidence and the statements of other boxers can be used.

Does Foreman punch harder than Tyson? Does Lewis have a better right hand than Wilder? Does Bert Cooper actually hit harder than Wlad? And if he does, how much harder?

No one here can answer these questions.

They're meaningless questions anyway, like who was the best guitarist, or what's the scariest horror film.

Just vague meaningless questions with no real answer.

I agree with Foreman being number #1.
His destruction of Frazier and Norton,
A great, and a very good is scary
To many different fighters said Shavers hit like
a mule kick for it to be an exaggeration.
My # 3 would be Sonny Liston
    #4 Tyson
    #5 Louis
    #6Lewis
    #7Tua
    #8W.Kliecko
    #9 J.Frazier
    #10 Marciano
The Heavyweights though have had many murderous punchers. Its just opinion on which one hit the hardest with a single punch.
Think of some of the best punchers in heavyweight history, but not necessarily good fighters.
Fitzsimmons, Langford,,Baer, Galento, Big Cat Williams, Lyle, Cooney, Ruddock, Bruno, Cootzee, Morrison, Wilder, all had the ability to destroy an opponent with a single shot, they proved it where it counts in the ring. Is it possible they could've hit with the same force or better than Foreman, but wasn't as good as he was in all faucets of boxing?
