i think johansson is a tough high for my taste, prefer moore and johnson to be honest.

solid list otherwise, would be curious about brief explanations for each

I would move Terrell up a notch or two, but pretty much agree with the rest of the order. Don't judge Terell on the Ali match alone. He looks much better in the others.

I dont see too many arguments with your top 10, the further down you get the easier it is to argue people up or down a few spots but thats the case with any list.

Good stuff and nice to see a picture with each one.:thumbsup

Terrell and Williams need to move up imo, I'd probably have them at 5-6, I'd agree with your top 4 though

Might be inclined to placing Terrell above Williams just a hair, but I suppose its debatable... Other than that I can't disagree.

Why? I had Williams going 2-0 against Terrell in their meetings. I think Williams was the more dangerous fighter. He had the power/size to blast out the punchers, and the speed to keep up with the boxers. A tough fighter to face.

Still drives me nuts that the Liston-DeJohn fight isn't in circulation. They show a clip of it on the 1994 HBO Liston doc, so I know it's out there. Someone is holding onto it real tight

I´ve never watched Wiliams vs Terrell I or II......but I think Terrell has better wins:
    - Chuvalo
    - Foster
    - Doug Jones
    - Zora Folley
    - Eddie Machen

Agreed.. Ad that to the fact that he did briefly hold a world title ( albeit a paper championship ) and I think we have more to go on...

Other than my usual gripe that Williams is way overrated, the list is bang on. Cleroux, Chuvalo and Summerlin might have a shout. Personally I rate Machen ahead of Folley dispite their two fights, more consistent.
