I can agree with that, but I thought Takam, and Jennings did just enough to beat Perez. But taking into account that he starts well, and fades late he could probably best them in future fights if he sorts out his conditioning issues.
Actually started scoring this a few nights ago and just finished now. I scored it a draw, but can't help fight the feeling Meehan "won." I marked 3 of the rounds "close" and gave 2 of those 3 to Meehan. Good fight.
This isn't bad as an h2h list. But rankings are generally based on quality of opposition (beat), not h2h. Gaye, for example, should not be ranked if he hasn't fought in a year. You also overrate Ruiz Jr., who won't beat any Top 20 fighter until he gets into shape. Joshua has looked extremely impressive but he's still just a prospect atm. The KJ fight will tell us a little more about him--KJ won't come close to winning, but may survive to the final bell, so we'll see how good Joshua's stamina is.
I agree Perez has a better shot at capturing a title down the road than either Takam or Jennings. But even in ideal condition, he's not on Wlad's level, and Povetkin would likely defeat him too.
