Feel free to take issue with my post... but I'm a middle aged man who rarely watches basketball and doesn't like rap. You seem to have confused me for some 20 year old bro posting from a frat house.

... and for the record, I prefer aggressive fighters, so while I respect Shakur and have a high opinion of him, you'll never catch me saying he's one of the guys I get particularly excited to watch fight.

    press X to doubt.

you add these asterisks to minimize the placing of certain fighters, while propping up other certain fighters with worse resumes, worse performances, less skills...

    hmm...

okay buddy. you literally made an NBA aside in your original post.
continue to watch DEI prospects paraded as "elites" because otherwise, you'll never watch boxing again.

this discussion was about skill, not necessarily resumes. if it's resume, then Usyk is #1 and Crawford is #2. i made an NBA aside because my post had me thinking about big guys vs little guys, and the NBA is only big guys.

what in the blue **** are you talking about with DEI? who is a "DEI prospect"? Shakur? Nakatani? I have no idea what you're even trying to say.

once again, you seem to believe you're arguing with a young man who has seen about 3 fights in his short life. i'm a stone's throw from 50 and have watched every big card since before I can remember (literally, as my father is a boxing fan). am i the most studied fan with the best insight? hell no, don't claim to be. but I post in good faith.

anyone can look good bashing tin cans so resumes do matter here. So Crawford, Stevenson, Nakatani automatically on the bottom.

What Stevenson does isnt even boxing, just corruption.
Funny how the "hit and not get hit" guys changed their motto, now its all "give shutout to guy running laps landing nothing thats not love taps on the gloves". Sh@t confuses even the judges sometimes when the opponent shares certain physical similarities with Stevenson like the De Los Santos fight, where they didn't know what the f@ck to score because nothing happened.

Theres a very large group of people, like you, that want to artificially make boxing look like basketball, but he will fail.

That comment by Turki about wanting a black champ is asinine. I couldn't care less about the color of a man's skin. Muhammad Ali, great. Oleksander Usyk, great. Roberto Duran, great.

Ok so of those on the list here, how do you rank them? Usyk #1, Bam #2? Or if you like aggression, I guess you might have Bam at #1? I can't hate on that -- check my post history, I'm a big fan of Bam. He's from my state, great fun to watch because he never lets up, never stops trying for a KO.

As to Stevenson, sorry, I just disagree, I think he's highly talented, the first guy since Mayweather who can successfully pull off that defensive style in a similar fashion.

And -- **** -- I don't want boxing to look like basketball. **** me. Check my post history. I'm the guy who has posted like 5x how the best HW fight that can be made at the moment is Kabayel-Bakole! Best technical fight? Lol, no. Best pure drag out war that doesn't need a judge because there's no way it goes to the cards? Absolutely. I'm the guy who is a fan of the calm buttoned up guys, not the ones who act like asshats at press conferences. I've posted here and there about what an asshat Muhammad Ali acted like to Joe Frazier and why it was terrible.

Settle down. Whoever you think I am, I'm not that guy.
