Ranking the top UK fighters (segregated by country)

Quite possibly, depends on the nature of the win. There are probably not too many wins DeGale/Groves aside that would do it for him?

Simpson is there to be toppled but overall I feel he has to be second at the moment based on longevity and solid wins he's picked up over his career. I don't think Kenny or Craig have any notable victories. Brian Vera maybe?!

 

TFFP's Scotland picjs I'd generally agree with, I'd probably still have Mcewan above Anderson though.

For Northern Ireland I'd have;

Possibly have Frampton over Rogan but I'd say that was a bit premature.

 

I'd definitely have Frampton above Rogan, apart from that common sense :good

Not a big fan of hanging onto clearly past it fighters in rankings based on previous results.

 

I think 1 + 2 are a lock. Simpson definitely deserves the No.2 spot I reckon.

It sure is, but the pro scene is not the strongest over here the last while.

Hopefully some of our good amateurs turn over after London and that list will be looking much better in a few years.

If you combine it with N.Ireland you have a strong enough list.

 

I didn't realize it was that weak, but then again I hadn't really thought about it.

N.Ireland seems to do okay.

 

Yeah N.Ireland always produce top fighters even though the population is only around 1.5 million ,even in the ams they have some quality talent as we seen at the Commonwealth games last year .

Belfast has some amount of gyms and its a true boxing city.
