. . . If JMM loses to PBF . . . will PBF get the #2 P4P spot? What would be JMM's rating then?

    Opinions?

PBF retired but never lost . . . so he deserves to be #2 . . . what about JMM what's gonna be his ranking.

This is a fight that JMM is supposed to lose so I'd place him at my #3 spot, PBF at 2. On the other hand, the Dynamite would be my #1 if he defeats Maycherry in impressive fashion.

The winner of Mayweather vs. Marquez should be #1 p4p.

    it depends how Floyd wins

if Marquez gets destroyed like Hatton did over the weekend, I can see him being thrown off the top 10 list

hmm says... I don't see how PBF automatically get #1 spot fighting JMM and winning at a catch-weight. If PBF wins he can get #2 if all I care and JMM can get #3. If JMM beats PBF then he can possibly get #1... depends how they win too.

Even JMM may not have a case if he wins over PBF because he is fighting PBF who's not even in the top ten rankings how much more with PBF. :D

Getting the #1 ranking is out of the equation at this point.

Agreed. The nature of the victory is important, although they may factor the physical advantages of Mayweather into the equation as well. Marquez may be forgiven to some extent depending on the details.

I would move Floyd to third spot behind Pac and Hopkins and would have JMM at number four.

Marquez would be #3. Floyd will be #2 cos he retired and has to face Pac if he wish to claim who's the #1. Maybe boxing fans would see it the other way if Mayweather knocks JMM out cold.

When Mayweather beats Marquez i'll go -

    1 - PACQUIAO
    2 - MAYWEATHER
    3 - MARQUEZ
