LaMotta looked great in this fight; he even showed a decent jab as well at times. If Jake had power I think he would have KO's Cerdan.

 

I agree. Your chin has to be the greatest when you take Sugar Ray's best shots flush and not go down.

OMG i have only read about this moment before.

 

The thing is with LaMotta he has such cofidence in his chin after he throws he doesn't even bother to try to block the counters he just keeps on throwing and takes them. Meanwhile Cerdan tries to cover up and block the counters after throwing,so he's being outpunched 2 to 1.Cerdan does stand his ground though after the first couple of rounds and also forces Jake back quite often.He was a tough guy in his own right,lets face it he was fighting one handed after the first few rounds.
