Rare fight films

I've heard that this was supposed to to be a showcase fight for Harris in Philly. But he showboated too much against Griffith whom Harris' people thought was on the downside after his fights with Benvenuti. I believe Harris was completely blind in one eye....Hence the awkward moves... Sound like someone familiar?

BIG DEE HERE= I am an expert on Harry Greb as I have been chasing things on him for 40+ years. There has never been found at the present time any fight film of him even though fights were filmed. The one that was filmed and shown in the theaters in the 20s is the fight with MICKEY WALKER in the Polo Grounds. That fight film is worth millions of dollars to the guy who finds it that is why you young guys are lucky that they found the training film of him a few years ago as guys my age waited their whole lives to see him actually move and not in a picture. Even though he putting on a show for the camera
like the sparring with Philadephia Jack O`Brian as he can`t afford to get cut
before the biggest payday of his career. Watch Greb on the speed bag how he walks the bag back and forth while hitting it at a rate that it`s a blur.
That`s really hard to do without screwing it up. I know as it took me years before I could do it.

I am a documentary film maker making a film about Jewish boxers mainly between the 1st and 2nd World Wars. I am always looking for footage that may help my project. I do have some - and know eventually I will have to make an absurdly expensive deal with ESPN / Disney for rights and clearances. I am looking for the 'non usual suspects' such as Leonard vs Tendler - the highlights. Ross vs. McLarnin - I was wondering if you have any fights I may be interested in. I am having a problem finding any fight footage of Maxie Rosenbloom.
If you can lead me to or may have footage of interest - I would love to hear about it!

BIG DEE,I have a copy of the Harry Greb training film from the guy who discovered the clip in a College archives. Amazing,watching this past prime Greb training for his Walker fight in 1925.One year later Harry would be dead. There is one segment of the film that I found fascinating and illuminating. It is the segment where Greb is playing handball, and while waiting for the ball to reach him, Greb is constantly BOUNCING on his toes to and froe, as my dad and others described him doing in his bouts. It was instinctive for him to be in constant motion,as Tunney described him as
"never in the same spot for a second", an impossible target to hit cleanly.
I have read to make the weight for the Walker fight, Greb had to run around Central Park several times,without any food but an orange drink.
He easily made the 160 lb limit,and the rest is history. The more you read about Harry Greb,the more amazing his legacy grows...The clip was filmed on the roof of Phil. Jack O'Briens gym in NY.
Wouldn't have been interesting to ask O'Brien who was flattened by Stanley Ketchel in 1909,this question." Jack ,who would have won the bout between Ketchel and Greb"? I would love to hear his answer...
