Yeah, D'Amato lets Tyson behave how he likes, molesting young girls etc, and it's the guy who puts Tyson back in line who's the scumbag. Ultimately, Teddy's concerns about Tyson's lewd behaviour proved to be completely justified. It's no secret that Tyson was surrounded by a few sausage jockey's in those early years either.

The documentary was kind of creepy - in D'Amato's world there was clearly an underlying aura of ***gotry closely beneath all the macho bs.

Yeah innocent, yet kicked out of school 5 times for sticking his hands up girls skirts and doing other inappropriate ****. Tyson was a real perv, that's how teddy almost killed him because he caught tyson feeling up his 12 year old niece.

He did train professionals. He trained Michael Moorer for a good portion of the 1990s, which was his most successful period as a trainer.

He also trained Shannon Briggs early in Briggs's career. More recently, he trained Alexander Povetkin for a few fights (imo improved Povetkin) but ultimately was pushed out by Povetkin's management and Alexander looked worse in his fights without Atlas.

  13. ohk the last time i actually saw him train fighters was when he was training moorer before foreman knocked him out.....

There has been a lot of crazy accusations when it comes to the relationship Teddy had with Tyson, but this is the first I've heard of Atlas calling Cus such things. Even in his book, he was somewhat easy going about some of the nonsense that came up with Tyson and other events at the Catskill camp. That being said, I really never saw all the anger some people feel towards Teddy. He's always been a stand up guy from what I've seen. Really opinionated, often loud, but respectable. He was nice as all get out when I met him.
