Moorer would never have gotten knocked out by Foreman had he listened to Teddy. Atlas correctly predicted what Foreman would do in the fight and even correctly predicted the punch (sneaky straight right) Foreman was looking to set up.

Unfortunately for both Moorer and Atlas, Moorer decided to ignore Teddy's advice and walked right into what Atlas had warned him of and he got knocked out.

I don't understand why Atlas gets so much hate (often times of things that are false accusations or over exagerations) and why he doesn't have more fans. He's one of only a handful of people in boxing who consistently call corrupt officials out, often times to their face.

moorer wasn't listening to atlas that fight because in the holyfield fight he felt like atlas stole the show and got too much credit when it was him doing the work in the ring.

Another fighter in the video was Frank Mincieli. He, was the 23 yr old lad with the tash who went round to his mum and dads and his Dad was trying to discourage him saying he may not end up being the greatest and Frank was adament he would be the best. He was the boxer who got over excited and Teddy had keep calming him

Well did a little research to see how his career panned out since I had never heard of him before. According to boxrec he had 3 fights, drew 1 and lost 2. Both were 2 years after this tape was made

Also found a police mug shot of him from 2001 in Florida for possession of cocaine, it is definately him as his age and date of birth matches

  10. I don't know about all that *** rumor of Cus.

Cus is a good man, but my uncle told me someone in the TYson camp was over excited when they brought in a 16 year old Lewis into camp for sparring.

that 'someone' will keep talking about Lennox's legs, like 'that young black colt got the longest legs I ever seen on a 16 year old fighter' and 'this young dark mandingo is gonna be future world champ'

Now keep in mind I don't know if Cus actually said those things about Lewis or if it was Rooney or maybe it was Atlas or just a minor member of the team... I think Cus was a great man and he wasn't ***.

But there was definitely something creepy about that foursome about
    Tyson-Atlas-Cus-Rooney.

Tyson was no ***. but at least ONE Member of his team was definitely into the ****.

I've always liked Teddy, and can't understand the hate, either.

NO ONE knows what really took place between him & Mike. You gotta' just let that **** go.

Does anyone else find it odd that they're all learning to slip punches the same way? Very horizontal in the way they dip side to side...I'm sure they gave advice specific to a fighter's style and dimensions, but this seems like a trademark of Cus and I wonder if there are any drawbacks to having all of his guys use the same system.

Yes, there are setbacks to it.

I think it was more of a Cus/Rooney thing. Teddy seems to teach what will work best for a fighter defensively and offensively.
