Maybe he'd do well there, solely because of the dearth of good big guys in the UFC. But he'd be a much better fighter at light heavy, because he's naturally not big enough to be a legit heavyweight. I know people will probably disagree with me after he's coming off that big KO win against Liddell, but Rashad Evans isn't a particularly powerful puncher.
Rashad is a solid fighter no matter how showboaty and boring he is to watch, and I expect him to get the belt from Forrest. His title reign gets drastically cut short though, once Machida is given the opportunity to a title shot, thus ending all the madness at 205. That's right Mike. Not Silva, nor Shogun will stabilize the division. Machida will. I just hope to god Bisping doesn't get first dibs at Rashad.. I would be terribly disappointed if he did.
My boy told me Dana has just about wrapped up a deal to have ol' Fedorino fightin' under the UFC banner . . . at least once.
Il believe that when i see it. Only the other day Dana was bad mouthing Fedor so il take that with a pinch of salt.
True. But Dana talks **** about every fighter not in the UFC. He use to talk bad about Wand when he was dominating the MW division in Pride. But now look where he's at.
Thats because he bought PRIDE and had options on all there fighters. Dana does have a shred of class. He`s been bad mouthing Fedor for years and yet is adamant on having options on him in the UFC? Fedor`s not stupid by a long chalk. He doesnt need the UFC.
Bisping-Evans was a close un Mike. As soon as Evans gets the belt there is no saying the lure of the gold will keep Bisping from coming back to lt.heavy. A bit of Dana White machinations and a garbage of a rematch will occur in an attempt to keep Machida away from a title shot. Boy I hope I'm wrong.
