Rampage will be a tough fight for Machida. Out of everyone in the division.. he would be my favourite to beat him.

Page has a hell of a chin. He should be able to get hands on Machida and take him down... and rampage on top of you is a *****.

That said.. Page has fallen in love with his hands.. so who knows.

I agree, he has fallen in love with his hands. Luckily he has the boxing skills, chin and power to get away with it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wanna see some SLAMS!!!!! Arona style!!!

He's not the only one it seems. Sherk, Evans, Koscheck. All of them were wrestlers who learnt a bit of boxing/kickboxing and fell in love with it. And all of them have been exposed as not being stand-up fighters. Stick to your bread and butter lads.:deal

I don't see Rampage being any different then Evans was. I think they are giving Lyoto a fairly easy title defense. ouch that hurt to say but I think it is true, Rampage has better slams but hasn't used them in like atleast 3 or 4 years. Plus he does have a more aggressive style (which my not be a good idea) so he will keep moving forward. I don't know I guess he needs to take him down and GnP but I highly doubt he gets him down. I see it as going into the 2 and ending with another brutal KO by Machida. Sorry guys.

I think that's selling Rampage short. I don't think he will beat Machida but Rampage has much better boxing than Rashad. Rashad only has power. He throws wild hayemakers and that is it. People are making him out to be some skilled counterpuncher because he KOed Liddell. He is far from it. Rampage has good defence from punches (not from kicks), he throws combinations, straight punches, hooks, uppercuts etc. His range of punches is much deeper than Rashads. He is a much better counterpuncher. Just look at the Liddell and Wandy fight. They were counters a boxer would be proud of.

    :rofl

Rashad was a one fight wonder. Him and Forrest arent elite, they just got the opportunity to pass on the belt because of Rampage's injury in the Forrest fight. If Machida had got his title shot before Griffin neither of those two would ever be champs at 205.
Rashad's best option now is to go down to middleweight, where he will no doubt get startched by Anderson Silva.

I don't think he made a single prediction right. It's quite amazing actually, i might start putting money on the person he bets against.

    Ahh Mike, Mike.. :-(

I thought you liked the karate/kung fu guys?

Sonny Chiba would be proud of Lyoto Machida.

If Rampage tried to stand up with Machida he would get Ko'd, but it would take a hell of a beating to KO Rampage.

Shogun is probablly worse not than he was before his injury, if Shogun was back to his best he would be the biggest test for Machida, but he will need a few fight to get back to his best.
