There's an awesome thread in the lounge about an Egyptian strongman with the strength of 30,000 men!

This statement came directly from someone who actually traded fists with Pacman so I don't know how could you discredit that...

Somebody with 10 fights, a weekly check for sparring and relatively unknown but trying to get his name out there.:think Okay. DLH is going down, man. Pac has that Tyson pre-prison power.

    Is that better?

Little more than fight hype. How many times have we heard statements like this from sparring partners? I'm not seeing anything about Holloway having previous experience with De La Hoya to base his assumptions on.

I'm not saying Pacquiao isn't strong or can't KO De La Hoya (I doubt it but suppose it's possible on accumulation), but this interview (like 99% of training camp interviews) tells us dick.

Coolest Avatar EVER. I remember a few years back, when Ali, in his 60's, and afflicted with Parkinson's got in the ring with RJJ, kinda play sparring, and was actually FEINTING and trying to keep up with RJJ, until he ran out of breath! ALI is the GREASTEST!!!:good :good :good

Oscar must be pooping in his pants

They really try hard to sell that fight, thats all about it.

and if its goes to distance they made a deal before that Oscar will not hurt little Pacy.

This thread reminds me of Lampley's commentary in the first round of the first Pac/JMM fight.

"Not since the early days of Mike Tyson have there been as many gym legends surrounding a fighter as there is now for Pacquiao. Out of the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood come stories of sparring partners with broken ribs, sparring partners who went home after one day, knockouts day after day in sparring. None of that means anything now, Marquez is no sparring partner."

Almost immediately after Lampley spoke these words, Pac went on to put JMM down 3 times to validate those "gym legends". Great commentary. Great moment.
