The Ortiz that fought Berto would have walked through Kell's shots. He also wouldn't have waited until the 7th round to begin opening up. He would have jumped on Kell from the start and made him tire sooner. And steroids or no steroids, the point is that a world-class puncher like Berto would have tested that chin far more than what a Carson Jones did.
Decent-good Its a credit to his defence that even when gassed & under severe pressure he didnt get caught clean/flush very often. In the 8th he took some serious shots & ended the round firing back with a big uppercut-left hook combo.
Good post Uncle Rico. . . I think that the true, final grade on Brook's chin is awaiting translation; he has not passed a true test to accurately gauge his chin. . . The most (and the best) we can say about his chin is that it's "above average," as a glass jawed boxer would have ate canvas, and been stopped. . . But yes, until he fights a true puncher like Ortiz, or Berto, the grade cannot yet be verified.
