8.5/9 in terms of power, maybe 8 in terms of damage because his accuracy isnt very good

those who've mention the pavlik/taylor thing are off the ball. pavlik does not have huge power. he hit taylor with one of the biggest, flushest straight rights you could get and it didnt put him down. he took taylor out with barrages of accurate punches that hit flush. froch hurt taylor by just clipping him and finished him with few flushly landed shots.

I voted a 7 or an 8 because Froch is more of a heavy handed puncher than a lights out puncher. What I think that gets to his opponents more than anything is that he seemingly punches as hard in the later rounds as he does in the early rounds. Opposed to most power punchers whose pop tends to evaporate as the fight goes on.

Since the idiot that started the poll didn't bother to define what the numbers were, you could have chosen any you wanted and it would have been equally meaningless. Since it goes to 1 we could think that one means the hardest couldn't we? Why even give a low range except as an invitation to trolls.

#1 = the best. Who wants to be #2?

Would it have been too much trouble to type something like:

    10 One punch sleep
    9 One punch 10 count
8 Two or 3 and your done
    7 whatever....

This isn't a question that is really answered by picking a number anyhow. And why group them the way you did? Maybe after my morning beverage I'll see this differently...

    lmao yo ... wtf?

the numbers are self explanatory.... 1 = the lowest / 10 = the highest
when has that ever been different? unless you were using the #'s for ranking something

Seems a fair and reasonable assessment to me.Taylor stated many times that he was having difficulty making 160,anyone drained at the weight would have less punch resistance.I'm not sure about the numbers thing, but having followed Frochs career its pretty obvious he's heavy handed.Even when his punches were grazing Taylor, you could see they were having an effect. As fo the old "Pavlik hits harder than Froch" statement, thats a crock of ****,how can anyone possibly make such a statement when the two men in question are fighting at different weights ? Pavlik is like Hatton when it comes to fighting weight,in as much as he seems able to squeeze his frame under the 160 limit, when he's fought above that weight "Taylor 2,and BHop" he hasn't carried his power up with him.Froch doesn't seem to have the speed and snap with his punches that the one punch specialists seem to have, but he is very heavy handed and the cumulative effect of his punches and his excellent stamina allow him to finish opponents before the final bell.
