They were all pretty dire, he got hit more than he should have by Barrett who sucks, but he did show his raw power. Valuev was fairly disappointing as he was no more dominant than Holyfield and fought too tentatively.

Ruiz was probably the pick of the lot, gave him an enjoyable pasting. Harrison was a farce as i think anyone will agree.

Together you see a bit of a picture, Haye is raw and amateurish at times, wild with his aggression and finishing, but has a stupid amount of power and speed and a killer instinct (which has actually got him into trouble due to his inability to pick shots when he presses the go button).

That would be fine, except Haye promised to conquer the HW division by taking on the Klitschkos immediately, promised to end the boring fights at HW (Haye - Valuev was less exciting than Wlad - Iggy). Harrison? Please. Valuev was beaten more convincingly by Chagaev before, Ruiz was a shell of himself. Still good wins for a former cruiser, but not nearly what Haye talked about.

Other people had beaten Valuev before: Donald, Ruiz, Holyfield, Chagaev. With the exception of Chagaev they weren't given the decision. So beating the welterweight in a bigfoot suit is not quite the accomplishment you make it to be...

Nope, those versions of Valuev and Ruiz would not be among Wlad's best wins. He annihilated Chagaev, who beat Valuev and Ruiz. Byrd, Mercer, Chambers, Peter, the rematch version of Brewster, Ibragimov would all be favored against those versions of Valuev and Ruiz.

The Barrett, Ruiz and 'Dutch Sonny Liston' fights are fun and worth watching.

The tactical job against Valuev and Audley's non-effort...nah.

Appropriate introduction to the HW scene. Good win.

Very good scalp. Haye was too inactive making the fight unnecessarily close when in fact, Valuev doesn't possess half the skill of Haye.

Okay win, mandatory opponent so I won't criticize the choice of fighting Ruiz. The first knockdown in round 1 is one of the craziest knockdowns of 2010.
