    I've never bothered to see this fight. What I got from fellow ESBers was that the fight was mind numblingly boring.


    However another poster on this site as basically made it sound like Ali vs Cleveland Williams in domination and performance.

    How did you see it?

    He only won because Don King was confused and fixed the scorecards wrong , SNV was robbed.

    Sugar Niko got robbed but it was a better performance than most of Niko's inferior opponents give.

    he did enough to win. would have been better had he not broke his nahd, but then again, throw a hayemaker at valuevs skull and what do ya expect

    Terribly boring, on the level of the wlad/ibragimov fight. these are the 2 most boring title fights in modern history.

    He did deserve the win, but only just. If Valuev had connected with anything other than the jab, or even just a couple right hands here and there...Haye may have lost.

    Holyfield's performance against Valuev was a lot more convincing.

    Haye ran and threw 7.2 punches per round. Valuev got robbed pretty badly in this fight. It was unfortunate that Haye broke his hand but, it should have been a loss because you can't give sympathy to a fighter because of an injury.
