How satisfied are you with each of them, on average?

i have both, historically I think hbo has had the better fights, but more recently I'ld give SHO a small edge, mostly because of the big 6 tournament and it seems like they've been putting on more fights in general

I like both, but HBO seems to have all the big names and big fights.

I meant to hit 4 for Showtime, hit 3 on accident, but they're definitely catching up.

    Both had great fights.
Showtime gets and edge up cause there wasn't a rigged fight.

yes SHO has a card every first Friday of the month where they have less known fighters, usually young up and coming type

HBO has some nice fights coming up in the next 2 weeks, theres a double and then a triple header after

another thing that pissed me off about HBO was that they seem to be showing mostly
GBP fighers, whilst skipping out on other much better potential match ups

I 've got no big complaint with any channel that shows some boxing. These two get, or try to get (Pavlik-Williams), some fights made as well. I'm used to HBO's people. Something will be missing on HBO if Howard Ledderman isn't there to chime in with that unusual voice and cadence. Is he deaf?

As far as nit-picking, and repeating myself, HBO is great at isolating big punches when they show the between round slo-mo highlights. Not so much Showtime. They seem to wan't to illustrate other things with the slo-mo, like epic misses.

Also, during the Ward-Kessler fight, I'm 90% sure Bernstien said that Kessler and Miranda had fought. It's a small mistake but would somebody who really knows what's going on (Kellerman) make that mistake?

I checked on all of 'em just to mess with you.

HBO > Showtime since they have the biggest fighters, fights, and they have better commentators.

HBO has been always on top, but this year I believe Showtime has closed the gap. With the new Fight Camp 360 and the Super 6 I believe Showtime has closed the gap this year.

HBO has more "CLOUT N' MONEY" which allows them to get more "BIG NAME" fights...But they can be UN-BAREABLE to listen to...at times!!! Lennox Lewis drives me F**KING CRAZY and Larry Merchant is an IDIOT and Max Kellerman needs to go back to Journalism School and learn how to "CONTROL" an interview

But Showtime's Broadcast team of Gus Johnson, Al Bernstein and Antonio Tarver is OUTSTANDING!!! TOP NOTCH!!! PROFESSIONALISM AT ITS BEST!!!

SHOWTIME was more competitive on Sat.
But both put on great shows.

Honorio Vs. Molina fight was... :good
    (If you like brutality)

3 - HBO (Because of the rigged Guzman fight! Only, Bute was great)
4 - Showtime (Making the stars HBO will someday try to lure away.
