I don't want to sh*t on Qawi but he had no resume at heavy. Norris was a much more accomplished heavy... and of course so was Sanders, Peter, et. al...
13 years haha. The only question I would ask is do these guys know they are writing shyt and are they really hoping guys are dumb enough to read it and believe?
You really haven't a clue what you are trying to discuss. Pierre Coetzer? Do you have the slightest inkling about him? (Sounds of googling)... Let me clue you in, he was the ultimate SAFE opponent. Stout enough chin, no power, not elusive, not particularly athletic or dynamic but determined enough to create an entertaining fight. When he got that shot at Bowe, even the smart set were saying a collective "Who?"...
Thats only hokum. Pierre Coetzer's fights are on the internet where anybody can go watch and form their own opinion. His popularity or lack of it isn't relevant to the debate. How popular was Corrie Sanders? Wilder is way more well known than Ike Ibeauchi was , doesn't mean he is better than him. Im sure Jesse Ferguson was seen as a useless bum back in that era , but watch him ans see that he's a level above guys today like Charr , Martin , Stiverne , Brock , Peter , Haye etc. Most of those guys were belt holders. At least Pierre Coetzer had legs and conditioning unlike the majority of the non-athletic plodders during the post Lewis era. Remember that B-levellers of that era would be top contender level of the K2 era.
Holmes for me .his victory over Mercer was incredible totally schooled him ! Looked good against Holy and McCall as well .amazing at his age at the time
