Very good, and I'd weigh it closer to great than good. One of Roy's best wins, especially since nobody else ever stopped Hill like that.

I voted very good, but i do feel the ko was sorta flunky. Jones hit Hill in a funny spot, and Hill broke something, i think. It wasn't a classic bodyshot ko, like a left hand liver shot. Kinda like Louis when he broke one of Schmeling's vertebrae with a similar shot.

Hill is great. Jones was in his prime and Hill was sort of outboxing him at the moment, so Jones went to the body. Hill I think is underrated and an ATG with 25 or so defenses. Great win for Jones. Maybe his best.

Roy Jones should have fought DM, Hopkins, Calzaghe, Glen Johnson, Tarver, Danny Green around that time, and saved himself the headaches later

Beating Hill and Hopkins and Toney are Jones legacy. Not too bad. Those 3 are not strong ATG fighters, but Hopkins is the best then Hill and then Toney as the 3rd best.

They way he did it made it a great win. Hill is or was a great LHW in his day and Roy completely destroyed him. Great win.....actually one of Roys best.

Yes, those 3 fights clearly demonstrated Jones' unbelievable ability in his prime.

Unfortunately, we can only speculate on fights with DM, Calzaghe, Tarver, Glen Johnson etc.

Jones could have added spectacular wins against those guys instead of fighting bums
