How do you rate him thus far? How do you think he would fare against the likes of Quigg and Frampton?
Not as proven as Quigg and Frampton so it's just speculation. But he has achieved more, for example, than say Chris Eubank junior, who many are picking to win a big step up fight against BJS. Very fit athletic, good skills...a bit unconventional, but not as far "out there" as Naz.
He'll end up being better than Quigg & Frampton Needs more experience & better opposition but is progressing nicely
No I don't. I would pick both to beat him today. I think he would have a better chance of beating the fairly one dimensional Quigg, than the the more well rounded, more comprehensively skilled Frampton. But he would make both look bad, at least for a few rounds IMO. He might hold his own or even be ahead at half way in a fight, particularly against Quigg.
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/boxi...tt-Quigg-and-Carl-Frampton-on-the-SAME-night# he's nice to watch, like a smaller herol graham. not sure how much pop he has, doesn't seem a devastating puncher. more than comfortable switch. i really like him. chased a fight with quigg but was refused. make of that what you will.
If Kid Galahad was to fight Quigg tomorrow i think he beats him. It's not that Quigg isn't a decent boxer, its just he's limited offensively and has carefully avoided any 'tricky' fighter thus far. Don't think he beats Frampton though. He's a total badass, and only Rigo beats him atm.
Both Quigg and Frampton would break Galahad down and stop him in 5 rounds or less. Galahad would be lucky to win a round or two. Completely different level of fighter.
Quigg and Frampton are more seasoned and tested so you would have to favour them right now, but Galahad shows some slick skills in that ring. Skills like he has can give even the most powerful of fighters nightmares - think Leonard/Hagler, Hamed/Robinson, Jackson/Graham (before he got sparked!). The way Galahad puts his combos together reminds me of Colin Macmillan - not great power, but clusters of punches accumulate and end up taking their toll on opponents. If he could learn to plant his feet now and a again, then he really would be the something. I would like to see him really tested though, in a fight where he has to come through adversity.
If he fought quigg and framps in that order on the same night would beat quigg then lose to framps, in the reverse order he would lose to both on same night
he always does. really hard to hit clean and looked good on the inside, neither typical british traits! anybody know anything about dos santos?
