How do you guys rate Diablo as a fighter?

I think hes a top 3 cruiser behind Cunningham and Huck, but IMO he can beat Huck easy and he already beat Steve....And imo he can defiantly beat him again in a trilogy.

I give Diablo a 7.8, but he has the potential to be a 8.5 solid cruiserweight.

Do you think Diablo could surpass Adamek's CW legacy ?

Adamek has solid wins in Bell, Cunningham and Banks. Won the Ring, and IBF titles, and minor wins in Gomez and Pineda.

Diablo has beaten top contenders in Cunningham, Rossitto(undefeated at the time), Fragomeni(Former WBC Champ), May(for the EBU title), and minor wins over Mayfield (former IBF champ), and 18-1 Ismail Abdoul, who has only been KOd once in his entire career, and it was by Diablo.

Won the IBF belt and in his last fight won the WBC.

Diablos resume is decent but not very good....but he can build on it. He is coming of a solid win over Fragomeni. I think if Diablo defends the WBC and beats contenders like vs. Hide, a Unification vs. Huck, and another contender like Frenkel, he would surpass Adameks accomplishments in this division. Haye as well.

Diablo could produce better CW resume than Adamek (but only because Adamek wanted more than dominating this division and ledt it), but he will not be better fighter. Adamek beat Cunningham, Bell, Banks and is undefeated at CW. However, Krzysztof can beat that by depth of his resume if he adds Huck and some contenders like Hernandez or Lebedev.

I think that Włodarczyk lost two times against Cunningham. Those were ugly fights, but both fighters showed warrior hearts. Best think for Krzysztof is to collect all the belts at 200, that could really be something big.

He is more mature and skilled than Huck, but Marco hits hard (so does Diablo) it would be great fight and Włodarczyk is my favorite. As for USS...60/40 in advantage of Steve. But the good thing is that Krzysztof is deceloping as a boxer, he isn't just heavy slugger like back in the past. He really showed improvment against Frago.

I rate him solid 7 with potential for solid 8 if he keeps developing.

I pretty much agree with Jaffay. He's a good fighter. He won't be as good of a fighter as Adamek, or at least it's difficult for me to envision it. His first win against Cunningham was very contraversial if I remember correctly. At the same time, I thought Wlod was jobbed in the draw against Fragomeni the first time around. I expect the depth of his resume to fill out over the next few years and I think he might be able to beat Huck and I think he'd be able to beat most cruisers. He's a top 3 cruiser in my mind.

I think he can be as good as a fighter its just that he isn't. Diablo has tons of skills its just that he doesnt showcase them enough or its either he doesnt know when or how to open up more.

More hard work and dedication than talent. He has improved recently and was at his peak in his last fight with Fragomeni. He can definitly make noise at CW. Potential fight with Huck on the horizon.

Good post. I rate him similar. In american rating system i would give him a B+ note. I rate Cunningham as A- and Adamek as A. There are few fighters in the world (not more than 10) who I rate as A+. I didnt give Diablo much chance against USS, but last night Ross proved that Cunningham is not hard to floor. I dont want to judge Diablo too much after only 1 fight against Fragomeni so I want to see him beating more good cruisers.

    No

I mean after the loss to Cunningham he looked really bad in the first Fragomeni fight, so I was a bit surprised with his recent performance. Thats why I want to see more of him against some good fighters (top10).

That first KD in his second fight with Fragomeni was pretty sweet.

I like what I've seen of him. Seemed to slow down a lot over the course of his first fight with Fragomeni, but conditioning can always be improved. Also, he looks like he's got more than enough space on his frame for an eventual move to heavyweight.
