I went for Lewis TOP-5, Tyson TOP-10, but that's not always the case. I have Lewis 3rd or 4th and Tyson anywhere from 10th to 12th usually, although i've went up and down with both of them.
Lewis 3-4 for me w/Holmes Tyson 7-9 for me w/Frazier Holyfield Didn’t we just do this same thing last week, minus the poll?
Irate Tyson above Lewis because he looked so much better against Tucker than Lewis did, but then again you can say exactly the same about Holyfield against both men and Lewis didn`t lose to Tucker even though a lot of fans think he did, but what counts against Lewis here is that in both cases Tucker and Holy were older by the time they fought Lennox and Tucker`s body was far less defined by the 90`s. I feel Tucker in `87 was better than anyone Lewis beat except Vitali and Holy and he was losing to Vitali only winning because of the cut.
They both definitely belong in the top ten, and could be in the top five, depending upon your interpretation.
I rate Lewis lower because of the two losses and the fact he was bigger than most guys he fought in weight. That is a huge advantage and makes the fights less fair. Less equal.
I've never watched the Tucker fight since at the time but I'm not aware that there was any body of opinion that Lewis lost to Tucker. Fair enough Lewis probably wasn't overly impressive in that fight but he decked Tucker twice and won without any undue alarms.
