Rate Margarito's Performance Against Cotto

i honestly think cotto fought a brilliant fight(especially in rounds 1-6),margarito just had the style & chin to beat him.

 

I think he showed him too much respect & boxed too much. Didn't plant his feet & bomb enough. When he was trying to be slick he couldn't pull it off. Took too many punches from a fairly basic opponent.
Thats just how I saw it.

 

He didn't do anything out of the ordinary from what he always does. The fight for me was more of a glaring reflection of Cotto's flaws that he never corrected.

 

i can definetly see your point,but i believe had he stood his ground & traded bombs with tony he'd have been ko'd earlier than the 11th,i think he got the tactics right just not the execution.

 

I think Cotto had the power to stop Margo or at least slow him down thus taking less punishment.
Would it have worked...?
Was Margo useing his special wraps...?

 

i personally dont believe margarito was ''loaded up'' in the fight i also dont think cotto has the power to hurt margarito,maybe if i cotto could've landed to the body he may have slowed margarito enough to let some bombs go,but the mosley fight aside margarito rarely takes many shots downstairs.
