watching him move in for the kill in all his most recent fights was pretty good ****. Where do you rank his finishing ability?

He's really good at turning that switch up a level or two to get his opponent out of there. He impresses me how he can one minute look too relaxed, and dare I say it, ordinary. Then **** off, he steps up like 2/3 levels and has his opponent in trouble.

He is basically amusing himself with his opponents for a few rounds then if he gets hit hard or KD he just turns it up Super Sayan level.

He does it so often like it is nothing...

He banks a lot on his athleticism and he's been fortunate to be in with guys who fade down the stretch. In the first Paul Williams fight, when he usually would pull away, Paul was right there with him, enough to get the victory.

He's a good finisher, but a lot is due to his opponents gassing and having no plan B.

It was a close fight, no gift. I could have been a draw, but it was such because Paul kept his activity up with Martinez when usually Sergio would just start landing and the other guy goes into defense mode.

When he suddenly does this its awesome to watch. Very few fighters can live with him when he does this. Brilliant finisher.

At 38, a true jr. middleweight, and a guy that wasn't really considered a real ko artist, it's pretty impressive. Say what you want about PWilly, being he's easy to hit, etc, no one, but Sergio has been able to do it. At Sergio's age not only doing early ko's, but late round one's like the ones he's doing not just anyone can pull that off. Barker and Macklin(who really shoulda been champ) are world class they ain't bums. Solid B level fighters.

Very impressive was his ability to knock Williams unconscious early, his round 10 & 11 finish with Macklin, and his bouncing Dzinziruk around the canvas. Not so much impressed with the Barker fight. Whereas Macklin was clearly losing, Barker was tied or down 6-4, as I had Barker down 6-4.
