I'd say he's at least top 35, and probably top 25, at the present time. Some of this still needs to play out, mind you; even if Mayweather retired now, his rating would still be in flux. For example, if De La Hoya and Hatton make brilliant comebacks and post strings of great victories over the next few years, people will look at Mayweather's wins over them as being very credible and great marks on his resume, but if they retire or go down the tubes, people may say that De La Hoya was washed up and Hatton wasn't anything special and downplay the significance of the wins.
I'm pretty much with ya. We've had this discussion many times in the classic forum. Among fans who actually know something about the history of boxing pbf does not make the top 50. That's why I didn't vote. boo
i had him top 50 but his still got a couple of fights in him that could see him comfortably top20 its very hard 2 compare fighters from different eras and weights but i do think hes the best of his era
