He got hit with the same left hand by oscar the dropped mayorga.. He got hit to the chin by the same right hand castillio that dropped corrales twice, he also got tagged by the same straight left by Zab that had that forced Cotto to hit low, so he would not get KOed..

His Chin is pretty solid! Probably not as good as Shanes but it wont ever need to be cos no way it ever gets touched that hard or frequently!

If I had to pick a number I would say 8.

 

Hard to say. Six years ago, if this question were posted about Jones, would ANYBODY who did rate him give him a score lower than a 9? But if you posted that question about him now.....

And that's the point. You can't rate a chin until you've seen it thoroughly tested. Chop-Chop, Judah, etc. landed shots here and there, but a test is a full out, three punch combo to the face type of test. THAT'S your test. And until (and if) that happens, we simply can't accurately rate Mayweather's chin.

And that's a good thing, btw.
