Great chin. His chin never failed him. It was other factors that made him lose by knockout.

that has nothing to do with it. Plenty of fighters were knocked down by more than one punch and got off the canvas to win.

you have too look at the fight itself, and understand you're talking about heavyweights. douglas threw everything tyson for 10 rds so accumulated enough damage on tyson to stop him. again you have to watch thr razor ruddock fights to see how good tyson's chin was. foreman got stopped by ali, who had less power then douglas, what can you say about foreman's chin? not much becasue if you loom at that figth foreman got hit alot and was tired. you can just go by what you see on paper.

Gary Shaw said that Kimbo have an equal, if not greater chin than Mike Tyson.

Would that homosexual karate silverback petruzzeli phase mike with a jab?:think

you do realize thats harder to do. when you get puhished for several rds, not only are you battling pain but also fatigue. again, you need to see the razor ruddok fights to see how tyson's chin was. and did you see the mayorga fight with mosley. thats a great example right there.

And he was the first to stop a rampaging Tyson in his next fight. I truly believe Mike's chin was nothing special, like Tsurkan's for example.

Tyson couldn't come back from a beating. His chin was good, his defense was his head movement which stopped as he tired. His attack was his best form of defense, if he had stamina he would have been a top 5 P4P ATG.

His chin was solid, not an egg like Wlad and not concrete like McCall. Closer to McCall.

Very good. Not iron, but very good. Always thought that thick stubby head and neck of his was a tremendous shock absorber.

Let's just say that it took guys a while before they finally chopped him down. Even Lewis who is a huge heavyweight and has a cannon of a right needed 8 rounds to put him away.

    Nothing more than Pretty good.

Iron is just laughable. Once Tyson got tagged a few times, he would go into a shell and just take ridiculous shots until his body broke down.

But you very, very rarely ever see him take repeated torpedoes and come back with effective aggression.

His chin is definitely lower than Holmes, Bowe, Lennox, Evander, Vitali, etc...
