Seriously, Mike had a pretty good chin.

 

excellent chin.......forget the old tyson(i mean mercer couldnt take the same shots as in his prime and that doesnt mean mercers chin is bad cause wlad stopped him)........tyson never got knocked out early/always took a beating .......even at 35 and well past his best it took lewis 8 rds of beating on tyson before stopping him.............tysons chin 9/10:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke

you are wrong, tyson never went into a shell after getting tagged. if anything, he was still agressive which resulted in the late kos. thats why tyson got stopped vs. holy, douglas and lewis. he kept trying to walk them down while they outboxed him. and you're wrong again when you say he came never came back with effective agression. watch his fights with ruddock, bruno and tucker and you see him coming back after getting tagged. it didnt work against fighters like holy, lewis or even douglas because those guys used movement, and being able to tie tyson up when he got to close to nulify his offense.

 

His chin was fine, it's his back that was the problem.

 

Very good, but not the best there has ever been chin-wise, Tua has a better one for example.

9/10, I almost spit out my chicken laughing so hard, when I seen LennoxGoat put Lewis' chin ahead of Tysons. Unlike Lewis, it took more than one punch to put Tyson on the canvas.

 

Mike had a great set of chops , he allowed a prime Razor Ruddock to tee off on it in that first fight and grinned at him...

And and as for Tyson going into a shell after getting tagged a few times???atsch Yeah he really went into a shell in those Ruddock fights.

 

He had a very good chin. Each time he lost it took a boat load of punches to put him down. I am still surprised at the amount of shots he took from Lennox Lewis before finally going down.
