Just look at the clip i just posted, pac defence is average maybe good if you wanna be a nuthugger.

By the way when pac knocked down Cotto in that clip his feet are off the ****ing ground lol.

He better not try that **** against floyd or he getting a check hook that will send him all the way back to the philopines.

he can get tagged but still way above average

How do you rate Mosley's defense?

 

Hatton took check hook after check hook from floyd until he eventually got koed. I think roach will know better than that. And i agree with many posters on here that pacquiaos defence is good on an ATG level. Pacquiao fights more like a fencer though preferring not to move his upperbody too much. This is what allows him to be in 2 places at once as referred to by his opponents. Also when considering the pace at which manny fights and the intensity he fights how the **** do you expect him to be a defensive wizard.

I do however believe pacquiao has learnt a few of those mayweather esque pot shot moves. His lead left his extremely good and the lead right hook is powerful and accurate. Manny pacquiaos defence though is largely based on those incredible feet he has which no other fighter possesses.

 

A very good display of such feints and old school defensive and offensive techniques can be seen in the david diaz fight.

Corrales had a great offence. Ricky Hatton had a great offence. Zab Judah had a great offence. I could carry on.

 

Not many people to date have landed many punches at all on Floyd. With Manny's speed and accuracy this will be Mayweathers stiffest test in way of defence but personally i think it will prevail and is why my head is picking Mayweather to win on points

Really? Great in an ATG sense? Hatton gave mayweather problems with his fast feet and awkward movement. Zab gave mayweather problems with his fast hands and power.
