Lol he came out with the excuse that Pacquiao was knocked out because Marquez was on roids, What does Marquez begin on roids have to do with Pacquiao chin when there is no proof Marquez was on them?

I'd say it ranks up there with his Pacific Islander brother David Tua!

Wasn't it obvious he was on the Tijuana juice while in the weigh in pics?

Lario's has a win over Israel Vasquez who had one of the greatest trilogies with the little Marquez brother. Don't underestimate chololo.

It's only obvious for sore loser's who come out with any type of excuse after their hero gets knocked out cold, I guess the other two fighter's that knocked him out were on roids too? Or what's your excuse for that one...

Solid 8 on a a scale of 10. Knocked out by torrecampo on the chin but pac was on a handicap wearing heavier gloves. Body shotted by singsurat and pac might have been drained trying to make weight(which he failed anyway). Only marquez knocked him out on his best

    Granite chin.

As best as it comes considering he's spent most of his career fighting out of his natural weight with an agressive come forward style.

The fact he's fighting out of his natural weight class and still takes these shots suggests he has a very good chin.
Even the Horn fight showed that because Horn demonstrated clearly the massive size difference between modern Welters and Pac. And Horn does have power and landed on Pac, but couldn't move him.

This is a good point. Marquez was a smart fighter who already had many rounds in the bank with Pac.

The shot he put Pac to sleep with was not a lucky shot and was not due to PEDs. He knew Pac's tendencies and worked out an effective counter.

It was a perfectly timed and set up shot. Pac literally ran into the shot face first.

Give Marquez the credit he deserves on that one. It was one of boxing history's all time great KOs.

That Marquez pulled it off against a great fighter like Pacquiao made it all the more impressive.

All this stuff about who was on PEDs. I hate the fact certain boxers are on PEDs and seem to get away with it. But...in this day an age, we can assume most top tier fighters have used PEDs sometime during their career.

It's highly likely Marquez, Mayweather and yes, Pacquiao, used PEDs at some point. Get over it or better yet, work to clean up the sport.

No hard proof, but tons of circumstantial evidence that Marquez was on roids:
    • Hired Memo (PED genius), lied about it (said he was working with a team of doctors)
    • Claimed he didn't know about Memo's PED expertise when Conte exposed him
    • Body transformation (ripped up and hulked up with an 8 pack and HGH gut)
    • Couldn't drop Pac in 2 fights when he was younger and in his ideal weight class
    • Showed up to the Alvarado fight with a ton of acne all over his chest and back
    • Got a KD and a KO
There's no proof and very little circumstancial evidence that Pac juiced, yet you accuse him of PED use every single opportunity you get.

    More facts:

    • Pac has been VADA tested in 5 fights and has hurt/dropped every opponent
    • Marquez refused VADA testing in the Bradley fight and has never undergone VADA testing
    :deal:

Exactly it's obvious Marquez already had him figured out, peds won't give you skills or help you win fights for example Vargas, when he fought DLH he was juiced to his toes looked like a huge monster and still got KTFO.

PEDs i think give some advantage. They help you recover faster so you can train harder. They can help you quickly gain weight in muscle rather than fat, helping a fighter retain their power as they move up in weight.

For an older fighter or one looking to move up in weight, I think the temptation to use them will be there.

But Marquez's KO of Pac was about skill, timing and an understanding of Pac's tendencies. It was not about PEDs.

Good Chin. It can't be an Iron Chin because he was brutally KOed. Iron Chinned fighters have that distinction because they were never knocked down or out. We have to reserve that distinction for the creme de la creme of the Chins in Boxing of which Pacquiao can't be because he was KOed in savage and brutal fashion.
