    8.

He could have gotten rid of Maskaev on the first flurry if he paid attention to the body shots as well as the head. Just like he did to Taurus Sykes.

Give it a 3, and only because he got the win.

    6. slow, flat-footed, lethargic for 5 1/2 rounds. but he finished up very strong. Killer instinct and put punches together when he had to. imo, this performance didn't establish himself as the clear #2 guy although i have no problem rating him between #2-4. i think you can put Peter, Valuev, and Chagaev in the same category. None of them are legit threats to Waldo.

    6. Considering he had to wait so long to get his hands on him and was expected to destroy him rather easily, I didn't think much of his performence.

He was exceptionally slow and flat-footed while managing to connect with a few of his patented rabbit punches and cause some damage.

Luckily, he was in with a 39-year-old guy coming off a long layoff who was slow as molasses with lead in his blood.

I hope Maskaev retires and Scam Cheater decides to go dance with the spirits or something.

Oh no, not like he did to Taurus? Taurus who? I've never heard of him.
He must have been a bum if Peter KO'd him.

They'll all come back with excuses. All of them. :yep

But Klitschko intelligently boxed Scam and didn't let Scam hit him cleanly on the chin! He used the ring too effectively! Oh, and did you see that tactical clinching? That's illegal! Klitschko will lose in the third fight. Cheater is still too green and only came into the ring at 239 lbs! Next time Klitscho goes down. Mark my words!

Taurus Sykes is a gatekeeper at best. He's probably low C-level. I believe Scam was 243 pounds for that fight--the same as the Klitschko fight. Those two fights were the last time he was actually in great shape.

He should have been penalozed for the rabbit punches.

However, he did better than I expected and I would rank his performance about a 7.

Then Maskaev must be a bum too. ****!

And if Maskaev is a bum, then Hasim Rahman was also a bum. And if Hasim Rahman was a bum, then Vitlay ran from a bum to avoid a bumfight.

I like the sounds of that logic!

I gave him a 6, because he won. He looked decent enough to maybe be in the top 10 of a terrible heavyweight division. Wlad, Chagaev, Povetkin would take him out easy and the rest of the top 10 are a toss up for me.
