Rate Sam Peters performance

I can't disagree with anything you said.Also it was amazing to see how slow Maskaev and Peter were compared to David Haye.I think Haye would have KOed Maskaev in the 1st and Peter in the 2nd or 3rd

 

Haye couldnt go punch for punch with Peter, Peter has felt his type of power already, Haye has never felt his, Haye is the next Razor Ruddick.

 

Do you think that Peter would land on Haye at all? Peter would eat right hands and throw slow, slow counters that Haye would simply not get hit with, his relex's are so much superiour to what Peter is used to throwing at and his handspeed is so so much greater it would be a sight to behold.

Haye would stop the Peter that beat Maskeav in less than 6 rounds. If Peter was motivated, 15lbs lighter and did some road work he would have a much much better chance. I would say he could and would be the favorite to stop Haye.

If he is in the shape he was for the Oleg fight doesnt have a hope in helll

Peter took 6 rounds to take out a slow old guy with a proven weak chin. I give him a 4.

 

I agree, Peter was not in top form against Maskaev, 10 pounds lighter would of done him alot of good, and would of probably allowed him to end Maskaev by the 3rd round. Peter has a good chin, with improved head movement, Haye's chin is suspect in the cruisers, I could only imagine what it would be in the heavies, plus his defense is very weak, and would be easily exploited by a fast powerful puncher like Wlad, I would fevor most if not all of the top 10 Heavyweights over Haye at the moment.

I'd give Peter a seven for his performance; I wouldn't argue with a six. I was disappointed that he wasn't in the best condition, but I liked the way he finished Oleg once he had him hurt.

On a related note, props to Oleg for what he was able to come back and accomplish in his career after his string of KO losses. While he didn't reach the heights I thought he might as I watched him destroy my fellow Detroiter Derrick Jefferson years ago, he won a belt and made some money. Good for him.

I would favor Wlad - thats it

 

I'd say Haye is top 3 right now and will get better fast.

 

We still dont know what type of punch he can take, my guess is he wont be able to take the punishment heavy hitters like Wlad and Peter will dish out on him, he would probably get floored by the first significant punch landed on him. Guys like Chagaev, Iggy, Peter, Valuev, and even Wlad to an extent, have felt his type of power before and they will be able to take it alot easier than all cruiserweights he has fought. I'm not saying Rahman will beat him or that, but if the fight goes past the 6th round, you will see Rahman rock him or put Haye down during this fight, Rahman will be a great indicator on what type punch he can take, and what he cant.
