Personally, i have it: 1) PBF/Tranny 2) PBF/Hatton 3) RJJ/Calslappy (RJ didn't seem right. I was expecting the swagger but he seemed to be feeling a bit down and that's what made it lacking)
The best of all of the countdown or 24/7 shows was the countdown to Mayorga/De la Hoya...everytime I show that to someone, they immediately ask to see the fight!! I agree with the latest 24/7 series...it seemed that it was lacking that "guy with the black hat" the others had. Both fighters were very likable and the series didn't create that rivalry we were looking for.
PBF/Hatton was the best one. Followed, by the PBF/DLH. The Jones/Calzaghe 24/7 didnt grab my attention much. Didnt care for it.
It was funny when in one of the press conferences, DLH said something like, "I'm going to make it a rough and tough fight" and PBF is right next to him imitating him and afterwards saids something like, "I'm so scared" in a funny manner. That's what fans want to see. PBF might annoy a lot of people but his personality is a draw.
I like Floyd's part with his dad. Drama. You can tell/sense the uneasy, bitterness, and guilt between them.
the floyd ones was the best by far floyd and hatton were perfect opposites of each other so that can be #1 floyd was the most negative against oscar but oscar was kinda boring ... #2 calz & rjj were both boring.... #3
Also, just watching PBF live like a king and knowing that he will run out of money by 40 is hilarious. Riding around in his house on that motorized walking thing with 50 cent. WTF?
It deserved it. Calzaghe/Jones are 2 of the best fighers of the past 15 years. The subplots and personalities however weren't as evident as with PBF's countdowns...
Wish I would have recorded PBF/DLH. Can't really remember that one too much but I think PBF/Hatton may have been the best.
