If Crawford is better defensively than Usyk (he isn't), given how he has barely fought any KO artists or legit punchers, especially ones his size, was dropped one of the rare occasions he did (Mean Machine) and has never been at a reach disadvantage in any of his world title fights

And Usyk has fought a murderer's row of KO artists and legit bangers not only his size but way or way way bigger, has actually had to contend with being at reach disadvantages and big/huge ones against AJ and Belly

what does that tell you about Usyk and Crawford respectively?

Uysk hasnt fought surging real confident HWS who can punch and do everything and in their prime. Uysks great but he cant punch and that would and will be his downfall, elite mover but people have to see what im seeing how to get to him. Hes a master of Mind Games and doesnt let Boxing matches turn into real proper fights, thats why they all look the same. These guys will find a way to make it a fight and get to him.

go watch some of Uysks cruiserweight fights vs B level guys who cant do ****, he goes 12 rounds and close fights with people i consider no good like the Polish guy, Breidis dam near beat him, another one. I got Kabayel beating Uysk for sure cause he can do alittle bit of everything. Uysks wins over Fury and AJ are overrated, they werent at their best and they are both overrated and fought none of top young HWS, smoke and mirror resumes both of them. AJ fought 1 and got chinned. Fury fought nobody but a shot Whyte, Shot Chisora and now Uysk and Wilder lol. AJ fought old guys then Wlad then bums and lost to Bum Ruiz, then some more bu

Dubois beat himself vs Uysk with no experience, and he still body shot Koed him.

Thats the truth, lost all momentum cause that rig job in Poland for Ukraine, anyone can lie all they want, its not good to lie

    Usyk
    Inoue
Crawford, he's been outworked in way too many rounds to be considered a defensive master.
Beterbiev, better than giving credit for, still pretty easy to hit though.
Taylor, used to be much better ten stop caring somewhere along the way..

Haney shouldn't be rated that highly, the man clearly doesn't know how to block left hooks.:sisi1

Inoue - 7/10 - He does eat some big shots but that's to be expected given how offensively minded he is. He moves his head, knows how to maintain distance as shown in the Fulton fight. But right now because he sacrifices his defence for offence I can't give him higher than a 7/10. I think when he moves up and has to be more defensive against bigger opponents we may see a more defensively minded Inoue and then we'll see he's actually more than adept an defence when he wants to be.

Taylor - 5/10 - Defence isn't his forte. He gives up his height and reach to infight far too often but he is at least responsible enough to keep his hands up. I think his defence is pretty basic but not terrible.

Usyk - 9/10 - His footwork and head and upper body movement is superb, given he gives up so much size and is able to out box bigger men from range is a testament to just how great his defence is.

Beterbiev - 5/10 - Pretty basic defence again, luckily his offence makes up for it. Unlike Inoue, I don't think he is capable of fighting more defensively, he's just pure suffocating offence.

Crawford - 7/10 - He controls distance well but his defence like Inoue can be leaky at times. He counters by often intercepting opponents punches which leaves him liable to take shots at times, with the pay off that his counter is even more lethal. So I can't say he's a defensive wizard, skilled and more than capable in regards to defence but can eat shots at times.

Honourable mention - Bivol may arguable have the best defence of any active fighter right now. I still think Usyk is better in this regard but Bivol is a close 2nd in regards to defence for me.
