Hatton is so overrated I don't get it his best win was over a old fighting once a year tszyu who never fought again, literally didn't beat a single great fighter after that went life and death with collazo FFS I just don't get the hype

Id say DD has had a way better career with way better wins

That's an absurd take. Calzaghe is an elite fighter with some huge scalps hanging off his belt. He has some unique attributes in the workrate, speed and stamina departments and if you don't think he's top drawer then you simply don't know what you are looking at.

Clearly you're not from the UK and have no clue what you're talking about.

No one would consider fighting in England away from home.

Calzaghe born in London aswell BTW.

When you beat a legend, you become a legend.

I'm not from the UK, but I do know what I'm talking about.
Jeff Lacy did, but after Calzaghe won every minute of every round against him, it's easy to see why others were afraid to fight Joe.
But to a Welsh mother and an Italian father from Sardinia. Enzo Calzaghe moved to London for work, then back to Sardinia for a short time with his wife and son, not long after Joe was born. They decided to permanently move to his mother's home town of Newbridge, Wales when Joe was still a toddler. Joe grew up in Wales and is considered by most people to be a Welsh boxer.

You don't know what you're talking about, bro. You should apologize to the people on this thread who have patiently tried hard to improve your boxing knowledge.

Calzaghe was born in London he's Welsh obviously but he'd also be considered British aswell.

Welsh people have British passports aswell BTW.

His fights were literally in driving distance from Wales no one would consider fighting in England as fighting on the road.

You're trying to portray him as some road warrior like Usyk who consistently fought outside his country when you know that's false.

You can admire him as a fighter but trying to say he's some road warrior ? come off it.

Those guys didn’t need to fight outside of the US.

    You shouldn’t need this explaining.
