    Yes. Kessler used to do simple things but perfectly. That has changed recently. Can he go back to his old style?

    I doubt it. His latest good win over Froch was down to sheer willpower and he did look good offensively against Bouadla, but his defence wasn't that good.

    That jab and right cross was a thing of beauty though.

    Applying pressure would have to go to Kessler.

    The Kessler who stopped Bouadla a few months ago looked more like the old Kessler, than the one who fought Froch, Ward and Perdomo

    Yeah, but his defence looked kind of sloppy though.

    I don't get this Dirrell love.. I don't rate him at all. We also missed out another section;

    Best Headbutt: Ward

    Kessler is a great allrounder. Does everything well but nothing exceptionally. That is why only exceptional fighters will beat him - he has no real weakness.

    It would be :good

    However I think that the reason that Kessler got hit more than he should be was because his sense of distance wasn't quite there. I hope the eye injury is entirely gone...

    Oh it was a **** on Kessler thread.....;)

    At his best - the counter boxing. In the Calzaghe fight, he more than ones had him en trouble that way. In the ward fight, it was different. Ward through first and then jumped in to head but or hold to take Kessler's counter punching away. Kessler under pressure has to take only ONE step back, and then step to the side and immediately throw new punches....Kessler did that very well later in his last fight......:bbb

    Ward - master of analyzing his opponents..:good

    Clinching well , braking ones rhythm could also be an ability.
