OF these three rarely talked about Greats.

    Which one is the best.

    Should they be discussed more?

How would they fare against Oscar De La Hoya?

    1) Randall. 2) Castillo, 3) Coggi.

By the time De La Hoya was in his prime, Randall was on the way down. But, prime vs prime, I can see Randall besting De La Hoya in a great fight at 140. De la Hoya easily outpoints Chavez' sparring partner (Castillo) and stops the vastly overrated Coggi.

    1.) Castillo 2.) Randall 3.) Coggi

I'll be the dissenting voice. Maybe Randall had the most talented, I don't know, but Castillo had more sustained success. Maybe I'm biased, because I have a VERY high opinion of Stevie Johnston, so a win and draw for JLC mean a lot for me. And he had that brilliant demolition of Cesar Bazan during his first run. Then he had his great resurgence beginning with his upset of Juan Lazcano and ending with the loss to Hatton.

The Surgeon had the monumental win over Chavez, and good wins over Coggi and Rosario, but his habits got the better of him soon thereafter. While its true that most of his late career losing streaks shouldn't be held against him too hard-he was fighting for $. But those losses to Khalid Rahilu, Margarito, Oba Carr, those aren't good news.

Coggi is a clear third here. A super diligent guy who made the most of his limited talent, but lets face it, the guy definitely benefited from some TLC from the WBA.
