Ok, on the advice of some of the guys off the classic, I picked up Pollack's 'In the ring with Bob Fitzsimmons' and I loved it. I've had a quick look on Amazon and I have seen he has written a number of books about turn of the century heavyweights. So, I wondered if you would mind rating the following books, just to give me some idea on which I NEED to buy asap.

    Bob Fitz
    Tommy Burns
    James J Jeffries
    Marvin Hart
    John L Sullivan
    James Corbett

Na he specialises in the turn of the century heavyweights. The Fitzsimmons book is thoroughly enjoyable. He is very meticulous in his research which is great if you want a true understanding of the times
