    -Carlos Monzon
    -Antonio Cervantes
    -Pascual Perez
    -Nicolino Locche
    -Miguel Lora

    Clear top two, Lora's last, the middle 3 can probably be shuffled around a bit. Don't really know what to make of Perez just yet though.

    Jofre and Monzon are interchangable, so are Perez and Locche. But Perez ranks higher in his weight class all time IMO.

    There's clearly a top two, middle two and bottom two though.

    Nicolino Locche Not sure where I rank the rest, I'm pretty sure Locche made the top 100 last draft, the other two don't)

    Interesting posts......in my opinion Locche was greater than Perez, better wins....but like someone said here before (I think was lora who said), Perez is tough to rate because of some obscure opponents....And that´s true.....his opposition is hard to evaluate because of that.....

    I'd rank Locche slightly over Perez as well, otherwise I agree with the prevailing order.

    They go like this:
    Monzon
    Locche
    Jofre (very, very close between Locche and Jofre)
    Perez
    Cervantes
    Lora

    I'm gonna get some flack for putting Locche over Jofre...and I admit that I'm somewhat predjudiced in favor of 1. Argentine fighters..and 2. defensive geniuses...so for what it's worth, Jofre could just as well rank above Locche...depending on what the weather's like...the difference is pretty close.

    I don't know...in the golden decade, the 70's..I was a huge Monzon fan...i only knew of how incredible Locche was from the print medium and I was a huge fan of Galindez as well..no real reason for it, as I've always been a fan of the great Jofre as well, and I rate him highly for coming back the way he did to win the feather crown and then retiring at the top..so...if you think about it, i guess I'm forced to officially revise my list and rate Jofre right after Monzon..being the honest guy that I am:D
