I've always enjoyed the heavyweights but there a few European guys I'm not sure how to rate. I'm trying to start a Top-25 Heavyweight boxing blog that I update weekly, but realize I don't know enough about some of these guys.

    Bermane Stiverne

    Magomed Abdusalamov

    Alexander Ustinov

    Mariusz Wach

    Manuel Charr

Anything you can add about them skill wise and what you think their future is would be great.

    Thanks.

Stiverne- powerpuncher, slow and ponderous, usually out of shape. Ooutboxed by Ray Austin for some of their fight

Abdusalamov- frightening power against limited competition. Very little skill. Stamina a question mark since he has never been the distance.

Ustinov- Huge, powerful, great chin, plodding, little boxing skill, never in anything remotely like good shape.

Wach- big with developing power, but may be getting over the hill before he has fought anyone of note.

Charr- not much here. They are trying to sell him as a big puncher, but he has struggled with journeymen.

Ustinov and Stiverne have enough good wins to be Top 20.

Of the ones you mention I think Wach is most likely to become a Top 10 heavyweight.

    Alexander Ustinov 6/10

    Mariusz Wach 7/10

    Manuel Charr 5/10

Bermane Stiverne- I've seen two amatuer bouts and 2 pro fights, he showed good power, good defense, a nice lead R hand. A solid chin. He does have a tendency to take rounds off when he is not dominating.

Magomed Abdusalamov- In three fights ive seen vs extremely limited competition, MA has showed MASSIVE power, little defense, and some level of offensive prowess. He also has a keen eye for finishing a fight.

Alexander Ustinov- Seen one fight. Plodding, mixes a good jab with a hard right hand. He looks about 40 y/o, but is able to go 12 fairly easy with his low workrate. Decent pop, nice jab, good defense, but footwork is horrible and was off balance sometime after throwing his own 3 punch combination. He's a 1-2 puncher if there ever was one.

Mariusz Wach- Massive power. Good solid defense and good ring command. ALbeit vs limited competition. Seen 4 fights, dominated all four. Hoping Fields can catch him wiht a few hard lefts to test his chin early in their upcoming fight.

Manuel Charr- Seen two fights. One over extremely bad competition and he looked to have decent power. Against the one Clevel fight he fought, he showed little power, and was often on the defense(his seems to be backing up covering, then clinching and turning his opponent so he can reset his jab. Decent jab, OK 1-2, some good footwork and nice combination punching. Need to see him fight more often and against bigger punchers. Seems to be hiding his chin behind overrated power.

How you define giving the chap a 7 out of 10 as overrating him is beyond me. I didn't think much of Wach until recently. But he's really come on within the last 2 years bringing genuine one punch KO power into his game which makes him a threat against anybody. Yes he's slow and cumbersome but still has the chin and the height to actually make a fight with a Klitschko competitive after another 12 months. I see Wach as basically Ustinov with KO power. His upcoming fight with Fields should be fun to watch.

7/10 suggests Slobby Sloth Wach is v.good, when in REALITY he is v.shite. :yep

Sloth Wach has the speed of a 3-toed Sloth on Valium.

1-punch KO VS horrendous handpicked Glassy BUMS means jack ****.:deal

Sloth Wach could NEVER win a single Round VS a Klitschko - even IF VITLAY was 50 years old.:yep

    Tye Fields is a GLASS-JAWED Fraud And a true TOMATO, with a super-shamefully-padded record.:yep

    Mariusz Wach (doing really well)
Magomed Abdusalamov (really coming up in the division)
    Alexander Ustinov (slow, nothing special)
Bermane Stiverne (fights like, what, once every 2 years?)
    Manuel Charr (garbage)

all in all, none of them have a chance against either Wlad or Vitali

Well, you guys had me very curious to see Magomed Abdusalamov, (never heard anything about him before) but after watching his last few fights on YouTube, it's clear WHY I never heard anything about him before.

Strong punch, for sure, but totally telegraphed. (big arcing right hook) Plus, he has no defense. He just leans his head forward and swings away.

This guy has no future in boxing.
