Jackson was more of a JR. Middle weight than Middle, so I'd say RJJ was a better puncher.

The first 3 were HUGE punchers, and Roy brought the heat too at 160. Eubank had very good power in his prime at middleweight.

Nigel Benn was by far the hardest puncher at middleweight. His first 22 fights all ended in KO. Can you say the same for mclellan? Eubank shouldnt even be in the list. jackson was a murderous puncher at light middleweight, but at middleweight Benn wins everytime.

McClellan had 31 wins and 29KO's all at MW. So Benn would not be BY FAR the hardest puncher. Why did you implement and arbitrary cut off point like 22 fights?

Thats nice to hear than, I had the same list, though I had RJJ and Chris Eubanks spot interchangeble. I havent seen enough of early Rjj to see he had great power in the lower weight divisions, always thought of him as a speedy boxer rather than a heavy hitter.

Bob Fitzimmons should be on this list because he has to be considered the hardest puncher..He was unique due to teh fact that he carried this power brought it all to Heavyweight Even Koing Corbett.

Stanley Ketchel had the same unique power

p4p the hawk would be no. 1. he was a beast at super welter, but his power probably dropped off a bit at MW (though it was still murderous). my list would probably be.

    1. McClellan
    2. Benn
    3. Jackson
    4. RJJ
    5. Eubank
