Boxing has been big over here in NY (my hometown) for years, over the years we produced such great fighters such as Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, Sugar Ray Robinson, Jake Lamotta, Buddy McGirth and the list goes on but sometime after the 90s we haven't seemed to produce the prospects we always was known for and with the launch of Barclays (this place is just screaming to be the venue of the next NY star boxer) it seems all this city was missing was a prospect we can call our own franchise, but recently there has been alot of upcoming guys I've been keeping an eye on they include these guys Eddie Gomez Marcus Browne Sadam Ali What are your thoughts on these guys hopefully one of them pans out seems like NY hasnt had a true hometown star since Zab Judah (early years), Paulie has been holding NY down latley but he is not what you call top p4p material thoughts on these guys? P.S its great to see there are starting to become more prospects over here its been a stuggle as of late
From NY also. Those guys are good, but it's too early to tell if they would crack the p4p ratings. I can see them all winning belts though.
I was at Barclay center when Eddie fought. He looked good, but I can tell he was starting to get tired in the later rounds. Daquan was actually a really good fighter. Eddie out worked him but he got hit with some shots.
