    Personally I'm thinking

    1- AJ-Povetkin
    2. Wilder-Fury
    3. Khan-Brook
    4. Groves-Smith
    5. Whyte-Del Boy
    6. Bellew-Usyk
    7. Canelo-GGG
    8. Frampton-Warrington

(was gonna put the last two in the other order but most rumours point toward Frampton-Warrington happening last and just before xmas and Canelo-GGG happens first, neither do **** all however)

    AJ-Pov
    Wilder-Fury
    Whyte-Chisora II
    Khan-Brook
    Bellew-Usyk
    Frampton-Warrington
    Groves-Smith
    Canelo-GGG

Outside of the top two, I wouldn't suspect there's a huge disparity in numbers

This is pretty much how i see it too. Just can’t help but think that Bellew - Usyk could be number 3 though. Order of competitiveness / how good the fights are would be different.

You know what, you're probably right. Hadn't considered that Usyk has had real exposure via ITV and looked good in doing so. Bellew is widely known and is often on panels shows and the like, so those two combined would definitely bump it up

Uysk didn't have that great an exposure because he was on ITV Box Office for the final which no doubt did awful numbers.

He was on adverts though and they advertised the final reasonably heavily. I had a few casuals in the office talking about him around that time, so he has a little name value. Plus his 'I am feel' stuff helps as well. It was part of Golovkin's charm once upon a time

Unless you’re a boxing promoter, who gives a **** how many “buys” a ppv does?

Fans conditioned by boxing promoters to think and speak like boxing promoters.

How many views do you reckon corrie will get for the Sunday omnibus bruv? Be great for the advertising if they crack five million homes

So with that advertising in mind then, what makes you think Groves/Smith will do worse than anything except Canelo/GGG? I'm sure they will ramp up the hype over the next few weeks and obviously Groves is well known for the big fights he's had.

Not sure about Usyk's relationship with the casuals. Lennox Lewis was asked about him yesterday and it was fairly obvious Lewis had never even heard of him

Usyk been all over sky sports news since his win. The casuals know him and the hype machine hasn’t even got started.

To the point you believe the casuals would rather see that than Khan v Brook or Whyte v Del Boy? Whatever they try to spin with Bellew and Usyk, I'm sure the beef between Tony & Usyk won't be as believable as it is between the other two fights.

I think most of that is to do with Bellew to be honest with you but I think Usyk brings some interest too. Plus Bellew-Usyk would be Sky PPV. I hate the PPV stuff but to their credit they know how to hype and sell something when required.

Groves-Smith is a fight I just don't think that many will care about. Which is a shame really, as it's an excellent fight and I'm very much looking forward to it. Plus it's in such a bizarre location, though I assume that won't affect the start time particularly here
