I would give this TV card an 8/10, intriguing and genuinely competitive fights at the top end of the bill and a good showcase of Scottish talent on the under card. Kudos to Matchroom, I think it is a good one.

Burns v Gonzales - good test for Burns and intriguing fight

Simpson v Choi - really can't wait for this, great fight

Simmons v Sweeney - Sweeney has a punch and could pull off an upset here, depends how good Simmons is, although Sweeney is not a natural cruiser - should be light heavy

Not sure what to make of Rocky Fieldings fight as I have never seen his opponent

Maybe a 6 at best. Burns/Gonzales is **** for a "world" title fight but it'll still be good to see Ricky again and Simpson/Choi is a very good fight.

Solid 6, not the worst or best card ever but there are some intriguing bouts on there.

It's a decent show with mostly decent fights and a couple of good fights.. Choi v Simpson is a *******.. And Eddie Nesbitt v Jon Slowey is quite interesting... Think the rest are pretty straight forward to call.

Staisfied. Good to see Ricky in the ring again after a fairly lengthy (9 month) lay off.

Always good to see John Simpson fight. His fight with Choi should be a *******!

Best fight on paper has to be Simpson - Choi

6.5 for me. Simpson-Choi is a great fight and Simmons-Sweeney is intriguing. Burns-Gonzalez is ok but it's not a top level fight. Great to see Burns back though and it is a world title fight. Not enough fights compared to previous shows. If McDonnel fight was shown as well it would be a 8 or 9.

That's a bit harsh on you mate. You've not made many posts and you've not been here for a year. No idea why people would want to call you a muppet.

Top night of boxing. Credit for making Burns-Gonzales and Simpson-Choi also a top fight.
