Tall and heavy does not necessarily equal big puncher but how would you rate the Russian's punch power? 34 KO's in 50 wins but it has been years since he last stopped an opponent and his two most notable KO wins are against Monte Barrett and Owen Beck.
he looks like he has devastating power as long as the other guy stands still long enough to be hit. In the Barrett fight, for example, Monte looked like he was shitting himself all the way through and it was only a matter of time before Valuev connected and put him to sleep.
In an absolute sense it's probably underrated actually, his lack of KOs is just as much to do with an inability to land cleanly, I'm sure he could hit a heavy bag pretty hard...but as we hear time and time again, it is the shots you dont see coming that hurt the most (relatively speaking). Let's be honest, you can see Valuevs shots a mile off.
Lol. I think he has got good power but not great hand eye co ordination, basically he does not connect with his more powerful shots. We Need a Haye win to boost the HW division. Go Haye!!!

If he where to put his weight behind the punch and land flush he'd probably knock anybody out, I'd say his problem would be he's so slow he rarelly manages to do that... He's got well above average punchingpower as a heavyweight but for his weight it's nothing special...
