4/10 and potentially lower. Main event was ok but it was a one-sided battering and uncomfortable to watch at the time with Cheeseman shipping enormous punishment. Richards-Ball wasn’t great, some awful boxing on show, Ball didn’t move his head at all, was too predictable an outcome.
Pass marks actually means a required score to pass an exam there is no ambiguity to it ,since there was no exam your point wasn't clear. Adequate means a satisfactory amount of quality or quantity , inadequate was actually the word you should have used to describe your opinion of Saturday's card.
I would have had it a solid 4/10 Felix Cash fight was a complete mismatch on paper Okolie fight was a complete mismatch on paper Ball - Richards didnt capture my imagination much, didnt fall for the fake beef I thought Cheeseman Garcia could be an entertaining war, but ended up a one sided beatdown.
It was a moderate card, but 1st up for the year not a total disgrace. Issue for me is this has become very standard. What was the last good non PPV Cars he has had. I will add Liverpool and Copper box do look like improvements.
I like the Liverpool show but Copper box looks like more of the same trash to me. Do you honestly think any of the fights in the Copper Box are anywhere near 50:50? Look at the odds already: Joshua Buatsi: 1/25 to beat Liam Conroy Okolie: 1/16 to beat Camacho Ritson: 1/12 to beat Townend Edwards: 1/50 to beat Moreno When 1/12 is the shortest odds on the card you know its pretty bad
you can somewhat forgive some of the undercard fights. Buatsi is for a title, Okolie is fighting for a title, Ritson is coming back from a loss. But putting a World Champion in a 1/50 voluntary defence in a MAIN EVENT is disgraceful. Imagine if the UFC had a main event where someone was 1/50 to win, it would not float. But in boxing we accept it for some reason. We're paying to watch a glorified sparring session.
Floats my boat ?? I asked you a simple question about what you meant by pass marks as it seemed somewhat vague and unclear what you were saying , you decided to try and play the big man and tried to insult my intelligence by insisting i didn't attend a school , if you start a pissing contest don't be surprised to end up smelling of urine. Take your brand of nonsense and steer clear of me not in the least bit interested sunshine.
Degale Vs Eubanks - good pick em fight. As far as all Domestic clashes go this is one of the higher level ones this country has. Joyce Vs Stiverne - crap fight , mismatch Sterling Vs Summers - decent, well matched fight although low level Selby Vs Douglas - not a bad start at lightweight for Selby Overall - 6/10 (not PPV worthy obviously) Bowen vs Evans - good fight, Bowen has the edge but Evans is a live underdog Yarde vs Amar - decent step up for Yarde but still a big favourite. Passable fight Challenger vs Haywood - well matched but low level fight. might be entertaining. Jack Massey vs TBA - Wait for opponent before passing judgement on this one. Overall - 4/10
