Highly suspect and immoral and all of you who do ought to be ashamed of yourselves for essentially dumping harmful waste on however many better fighters than Jermain Taylor, depending on where you rank him in the top 20.

Sometimes things just go too far with boxing fans, who sometimes act like the scum of the earth.

I am almost certain that Taylor will beat Pavlik impressively in the rematch. I think a loss was exactly what Taylor needed to reignite his career. Like him or not, he is very a talented fighter, and has the tools to outpoint Pavlik, somewhat easily. He was winning the fight on points and I am pretty sure he will rebound with a great performance.

He was winning the fight on the scorecards that protected him before. Both fighters were landing good, clean punches but Pavlik was clearly bringing the fight to Taylor through all rounds, the exemplified effective aggression. Manny Steward acknowledged that the fight was going in Pavlik's direction because Pavlik was forcing his gameplan and Taylor was reacting most of the time. Pavlik can be beaten, but nobody is going to do that easily as you suggest, not against a 6'2, long armed power puncher who can execute a gameplan to perfection.

I should note that while he is just outside my top 20 he will drop back farther after he gets ktfo on the 16th....I just don't have the heart to dock him to the 25-30 range yet

J.T. is a good fighter who doesnt like fighting. Thus he always seems to look less than he is. If Nigel Benn controlled his mind, then he would be a extremly different prospect.

There's always one question I ask of myself regarding Taylor -- where'd he have been without HBO?

Nope - Hopkins had his victories STOLEN from him by HBO, determined to get their latest hype job a title. Same thing happened to Winky Wright.

Taylor is a FRAUD, always has been. And, unfortunately for HBO, he ran into somebody who took him out BEFORE he could collect his usual gift decision. I can't wait til Pavlik destroys this overrated hype job again.:yep
