Taylor beat Hopkins convincingly the 2nd time round, i don't even see why people are discussing this?

Bernard Hopkins is a Natural Light Heavy, by his own admission. Jermain Taylor, even if you think he lost both fights, was very competitive and pretty much proved he was at least on his level. Some people still have Hopkins in their top 5 P4P, I definitely don't, but many including The Ring do. What is more immoral and suspect? Having Jermain in the top 20, or having Hops in the top 5 while claiming Jermain isn't even top 20? :think

People discredit JT so much. Maybe it's because he hasn't lived up to the hype but by no means is the guy garbage. The guy is still young and has the potential to be something better than he is. I know he's got a bunch of flaws and he looks like a rookie sometimes but he's still got the talent to improve.

Even if Taylor beat Hopkins, Hopkins is still better than Taylor, even today.

    Its not even debatable.

I'm not even a Taylor fan but you're telling me a former undisputed middleweight champ with 1 loss is not top 20 p4p?

Jarmain Taylor is a top20 p4p. It's not a thing that an average fan has to explain because it's so simple.

    I don't have a p4p 11 to 20 but he'd be probably around 11-15.

Hopkins around 15, Wright's not in the top 20 anymore, due to inactivity and horrible performances ever since the Sam Soliman fight, in which prior was Tito and Mosely years ago and not good enough to run off of now.

Wright gets pummeled by any top MW-SMW.

    Your list is absurd.

Kessler under Taylor? I'm sorry mate, but Kessler didn't just get starched by a B level fighter in Pavlik, he lost to a true P4P elite fighter in a decent fight.

Margarito over Mijares? Margarito isn't even a top guy in his division and is on the decline, where as Mijares is the WBC champion, coming off of an extremely dominant win over a top 3 in that division in Arce.

Taylor as high as 13 is the worst part of it though, and DLH in there at all.

You clearly have no ability to grade fighters impartially on their skill, ability and resume.
